Yes it is. the timing of Indian stock market is as follow
Pre open session - 9.00 AM to 9.15 AM
Market Opens - 9.15 AM
Markets Closes - 3.30 PM

Now as Diwali is coming,in that day ,the stock market will open for an hour for special trading but yes other than that the timings are now also the same as before.May be in Winter season the time again will come to 10:00 AM to 4:15 PM.

yes The timing has been revised to 9:00 am for both stock exchanges and it is now a really difficult task for the Brokerage houses to keep the Back Office data updating . The time for updates is really less . Even for traders it is quite difficult to analyze the stocks to be traded for the day
