How about email notifications?

In goldentalk members receive email notifications when a thread posted in gets a new post. I think this is a great way of keeping tract of your posts and I would love to see earningpalace have this. If you already do, i do not know how to turn it on if you know of a way please inform me. Thank you all

Well, it's because you are turn off subscribe
UserCP ---> at My Subscriptions --> Subscribed Threads in Folder and choose all

OH so this will set it to send me an email whenever ANY thread is changed, or only ones that I comment into myself?

to Instant Email Notification

I think email notification is not necessary. because its only will flood your email account. The best way is to localize it.. Just visit EP then check your subscribed threads.. As like in GT you can just reply to all the threads that you have subscribed. Minus the spamming of your email.. ( I don't know if spamming is the right word since you agree to accept email notification) For me this is the better why.. No bulk emails but have record of all threads that you are active. Like you said like in GT.

EMail notification is upon your subscription. If you do not wish to receive email notifications when someone else reply on your post, then don't subscribe for email notification.
