very true, people with the string heart to play the risk. id you don't have the heart to risk then HYIP is not the place for you.
and the point about investing only that money which you are ready lose is very true, but the greed of people makes them lose more money than they afford.
don't be greedy as it could be the reason for your downfall

Absolutely right , greed is the most dangerous aspect of losing high money in HYIP's . This is what all about the Ponzi factor , once the money gets more with investing in high ROI sites people take extra risk out of greed and this brings in the losing of money factor in . Recently people have lost huge amounts of money in Genius Funds because they felt that it is going to last forever and they invested more than they should have risked.

Genius Funds is the perfect example, even nanomoney was the same. people invested more than 50% of their portfolio in these HYIP thinking that they will last long. and many where compounding, so they didn't gain anything from the fund and ended up losing the money. but i guess everyone learns it the hard way. i just learnt the hard way by showing greed in Huge money.

@ Champrocker
firstly, i thank you for all your effort to write this great aspiration article about hyip. Like you said about trust, it really cause me lose $$$ in Geniusfund. Again, you write about interest ROI is another problem am having on hyip. I would like you to give some instances on how to calculate ROI. If a program pays 2.5% daily and i invested $5, how much in cents will i receive daily? And you can give other e.g to clear me on the whole issue of ROI. Thanks once more.

I very naively invested a lot in Genius and Nano as I was not a seasoned HYIPER and really believed they had a year in them at least but hey we all learn from our mistakes..Now I am putting it all in PTV INSTEAD lol.Well no I will diversify and am planning to do as many hyips as I can but I need more capital now to do that. I did withdraw at least one third of my money from Genius as I didn't have it on compounded so I managed to salvage some money at least but then many hyips that were probably piggy backing off Nano went down as well so I lost most of my money through the domino effect even though I had diversified my funds..

we all make the same mistake some point or the other in the HYIP sector, and the best part is that you have learnt from your mistakes. money can be made and lost any day but the knowledge and experience will stay forever.
diversifying the portfolio is the key part, i don't trust any HYIP, no matter how big their name is or how new they are. i take every HYIP to go down soon, so i try to take out as much money from them as possible.
