Realistic Returns!
Risk/Reward ratio is a percentage ratio of the trade executed in certain number of lots and with certain number of pips as stop loss and profit target ... however, most of the people that calculate it upended make no significance because you can't put your profit target necessarily as 50 pips just because you have put 25 pips as stop loss. Market might need that much room on the downside but not have the momentum to go up that many pips ... it depends on certain things and there are a couple of indicators that are really useful in determining that ratio i.e., Average Directional Index, Average True Range and Relative Strength Index. The most logical targets for returns and risk exposure would depend on that particular day's movement.
